Yahoo features Opera Mini on downloads.yahoo.com

February 6, 2007

Yahoo logoI just noticed that Yahoo added a link to Opera Mini’s homepage on their downloads page. Not a biggie, since Yahoo hooked up with Opera to be the default search provider on Opera Mini and the full Opera Mobile web browser, but it’s still a nod from the big Yahoo!

Now we gotta get Google to include the Opera desktop browser in Google Pack. 🙂

Any chance this will help Yahoo! make some progress on getting all their webpages (or at least most) to work with Opera? That would be nice. 🙂

It can be also noticed that the most visible thing on the same yahoo page is the Featured Download – IE7. Sweet! 🙂

Quite obviously we are to replace FF as a supierior browser.

Yes, Google should replace FF 🙂

    Opera is still better 😀

You should change your headline, Daniel. “Yahoo! mentions Opera Mini down in the bottom right corner of downloads.yahoo.com” would be more appropriate.

    Daniel Aleksandersen, hehe. 🙂
