W3C visits Opera headquarters for AJAX standards discussion

The W3C’s (World Wide Web Consortium) working group on Web APIs met at Opera Headquarters in Norway this past week to work on various web standards, including AJAX (XMLHttpRequest) and DOM-3 Events.

Attending the discussions were Robin Berjon – Expway, Charles McCathieNevile – Opera, Dean Jackson – W3C, Anne van Kesteren – Opera, Jonas Sicking – Mozilla, Stéphane Sire – Intuilab, Jim Ley – jibbering.com, and Gorm Eriksen – Opera. See picture here.

The W3C’s is an international consortium, which works to develop Web standards.
